Hi
I have jobs set up to page operator when job fails
It works great but... there is always "but".
But email subject says Job Completed
EMAIL SUBJECT:
SQL Server Job System: 'Test email' completed on <SERVER_NAME_PLACE_HOLDER>

EMAIL BODY:
JOB RUN: 'Test email' was run on 7/7/2008 at 4:06:48 PM
DURATION: 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds
STATUS: Failed
MESSAGES: The job failed. The Job was invoked by User <USER_NAME_PLACE_HOLDER>. The last step to run was step 1 (step1).

Unless i open the email i dont really know if it failed or succeded

My question is is there a way to adjuct subject line to say Fuiled when failed and success when succeded?
Or is there are simular solution. Most of the jobs cant be edited at all

Instead of COMPLETION notification use SUCCESS and FAILURE notification.

Hi
Thanks for the reply
Regardless what you use Success, Failure, Completed email subject would always say COMPLETED.

So my question is:
