Hi,

Does anybody know if there is any information available about chnaging the layout of the default SQL Reporting site?
I mena the site, where the reports are being placed for the users.

We would like to alter it with the company logo and color specifications.

From my point of view it can be altered. However, if that means you will loose support or is not considered a best practise or something like that, it's best not to alter it.

greetings,

Kick

Hi,
it is possible to change the default layout of the Report Manager. It exists a default style sheets for this site:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportManager\Styles\ReportingServices.css

If you want to add a picture you should modify the tag:
.msrs-uppertitle { BACKGROUND: url(http://yourserver/reports/yourlogo.jpg) no-repeat; }

But this is very dangerous. Please make a backup of the file before you start modifications.

In this blog you will find more about customization of the Report Manager: http://weblogs.asp.net/jgalloway/archive/2006/12/12/reporting-services-add-a-logo-to-the-report-manager.aspx

Kind Regards,
Sylvio
